Course: Freediving Advanced Level

We are training our students according to the Apnea Total education system. All our courses take place in the breath-taking Cenotes of the Riviera Maya, where we encounter perfect conditions all year round.

Apnea Total Advanced Freediver

The Advanced Freediver Course is designed to take students to a whole new level of freediving and to maximize their underwater potential.

Course content overview: Mammalian Dive Response, Static Apnea, Advanced Breathing Technique, Exhale Diving, Deep Diving, Dry & Wet Training Methods.

Duration: 3 days (see possible schedule further down)

Location: One of the wonderful cenotes of Riviera Maya

Price: $375 USD

Includes: All course-, certification- and entrance fees, transport*, insurance, complete equipment, water, snacks and local lunch.

Preconditions: Certified freediver. For evaluation purposes, we recommend a Training Lesson prior to the course.

By the completion of this course you will be capable to achieve depths of up to 35 meters / 115 feet only on one breath. The most advanced breathing techniques together with our specific preparation program for deep dives will even make that feasible for students who just finished their Freediver Course (or an equivalent course from another organization.

The Advanced Freediver Course is divided into 3 classroom lessons and 3 water sessions (1 pool + 2 depth)*. This includes static apnea with breath-holds of over 3 minutes in the pool; which might sound unrealistic to you right now, but with our expert guidance it is absolutely feasible. During our deep diving water sessions you will progressively achieve new depths with knowledge, control, comfort and fun. We will guide you with precise instructions on breathing, relaxation and technique necessary and be by your side at all times.

Upon completion of the Advanced Freediver Course, you will receive your hard-earned certification as well as exclusive lifelong online access to our course materials.
