FAQ - Frequently asked questions
General
Who are you and where can I find you?
For reasons of security and privacy we have deliberately decided against a physical, i.e. publicly accessible shop and the publication of our name. We will be happy to tell you our exact location as well as our full name after the first contact. We thank you for your understanding.
What are your strengths?
-
Languages: We offer all of our activities in either English or German, and we are nota bene the only German-speaking freediving school in Mexico.
-
All-round-carefree-package: All our activities include transportation*, complete equipment, all entrance fees, drinking water, snacks and a local lunch. Our courses also include diving insurance.
-
Spirit of discovery: The cenotes are our passion and we spend a lot of time discovering "new", sometimes absolutely untouched ones for our activities.
-
Time saving: Most other freediving schools have a minimum of 2 hours travel time per session. With us the total travel time is less than 1 hour.
Can you pick me up at my accommodation?
*Individual pick up is currently not possible. Hereby we declare the transport from our freediving school (base) to the cenotes and back explicitly as gratuitous service.
What exactly does the "complete equipment" consist of?
5mm wetsuit, apnea fins, apnea mask, snorkel, weight belt, weights, safety lanyard.
What's a cenote?

Each has its very own charm and character and will also cast a spell on you!

Why do you teach according to the Apnea Total System? What makes you different from the other organizations?
-
Our instructors are always at your side underwater, no matter what depth...
-
so they see your entire dive.
-
they can communicate with you underwater, e.g. to correct any mistakes immediately.
-
they can give you a precise and comprehensive feedback afterwards.
-
-
The training is very practical and ideal for freediving in cenotes, oceans, seas and lakes.
-
The system was developed completely independently based on decades of experience of the two founders.
-
The system allows us to respond individually to you as a person, e.g. to solve equalization issues.
